Learners will discover how to create a literacy rich classroom environment through classroom libraries, mentor baskets, turn and talk, and self-selected seating while using mini -lessons, interactive read alouds, and independent reading time. This session will be helpful for teachers new to the district or new to reading workshop. It will also serve as a good beginning of the year refresher for all teachers.
